There’s been a few changes to the Twitter layout recently which can have a BIG effect on your business if you use them.
Have you changed to the new Twitter layout yet? If not, make the switch and here’s two great reasons why:
1) You can now pin a tweet to the top of your timeline. This is good news since it means if you have something important to say you can make sure it’s the first thing anyone who visits your profile sees. Don’t waste this opportunity – see some good examples of twitter profiles using it well below:
2) You can now have a big header photo/image across your Twitter homepage so make the most of it to put across your business in the best possible light – show off, impress and wow your Twitter visitors.
EXAMPLES OF A GREAT TWITTER LAYOUT

This example is from Costa Coffee, making their header image and pinned tweet very current and timely by making it fit with the currently amazing weather we’re having her in the UK (they’ll probably be back to warming hot chocolate with marshmallows by next week – sorry!).
Lastly here’s an example from Coldplay, cunningly using their header image and pinned tweet to raise awareness of their new album release:
How about you? What header image and pinned tweet would say the most, and help promote, your business?
Bye for now, Marie
